Marlene taught art K-12. She was a consultant for high school art teachers. Her fine arts program is a right and left brain experience with art history, writing, drawing, printing, film, photography, performance, painting, and sculpture.

 

In the performing arts Marlene did acting and appeared in movies as an extra, such as “The Fugitive”, with Harrison Ford and Tommy Lee Jones; “With Honors” with Joe Pesci and Brandon Frasier; “Blink” with Natalie Stowe and James Reymar. One of the main actor, James Reymar sat next to Marlene with pointers on how to act in a play called “Baby Dance”. She also appeared in a television show called “Missing Persons” filmed in Chicago. Being a part of a movie production allowed Marlene to experience the professional aspect of producing movies. She has since produced her own movies, with animations, documentaries and short films.Here is a video of Marlene Krueger painting at McWay Falls, at Big Sur, California. Marlene’s art is about landscapes and seascapes at McWay Falls, Pfieffer Beach, Big Sur, Monterey Bay. She does figure drawings, print-making, water color, acrylic, and has a large collection of photography. She  also creates videos that exhibits her fine art process.
